Astrology Through My Lens: A Sneak Peek Into My Zodiac Art Collection
As I’ve been working on this zodiac-inspired art collection, I had an interesting realization about a third of the way through the process. At first, I thought I was simply "painting the zodiac signs," but what I discovered is that this project is so much more personal. It's not just about capturing each sign’s traditional traits—it's about how I see them through my own lens, my own perspective.
Every sign holds a unique place in the cosmic world, and as I’ve been working on these pieces, I’ve started to notice how each one reflects a piece of the puzzle that makes up the whole of astrology. It’s been a journey of discovering the depth and essence of each sign, and how they all come together to create a beautiful and intricate cosmic tapestry.
Let me give you a peek into the signs as I see them:
Scorpio: There’s a mysterious depth to Scorpio that draws me in. It’s like they’re always thinking, always analyzing, with layers that you can’t always see on the surface.
Taurus: Oh, Taurus. There’s something so soothing about their energy, a calm and steady vibe that makes you feel at ease no matter what’s going on around you.
Aries: The fiery enthusiasm of Aries is contagious. Their passion is like a spark that ignites everything they touch. It’s impossible not to feel the energy they bring.
Leo: Confidence radiates from a Leo. It’s not just self-assuredness; it’s an innate ability to light up a room and make everything feel alive and exciting.
Libra: The openness and balance of Libra is something truly beautiful. Their ability to see both sides of a situation and bring harmony to any space is something that has always fascinated me.
Gemini: Detail-oriented, curious, and always on the move—Gemini sees the world through a lens of constant curiosity and adaptability.
Virgo: Virgo’s aesthetic is so unique. It’s about precision, order, and a quiet, refined beauty that you don’t always notice, but once you do, it’s hard to forget.
Pisces: Dreamy and intuitive, Pisces can see beyond the veil. There’s a softness and emotional depth to them that makes everything feel a bit more magical.
Sagittarius: Sagittarius is the embodiment of excitement and adventure. They’re always pushing forward, looking for the next big thing, and inviting everyone along for the ride.
Capricorn: The structure and discipline of Capricorn are like the foundation of a building—solid, reliable, and unshakable. There’s a quiet strength to them that is impossible to ignore.
Aquarius: Acceptance and open-mindedness are key to Aquarius. They don’t just accept the world for what it is—they dream of what it could be, and they’re not afraid to bring that vision to life.
This collection isn’t just about capturing a static image of each zodiac sign. It’s my interpretation of their energy, the essence of their traits as I experience them. And the best part? When I see someone’s eyes light up because their sign resonates with a piece, it truly fills me with joy. That’s when I know I’ve done justice to the sign and to the art.
I cannot wait for the release of these pieces! It’s been so hard keeping them all in the studio to myself, but I’m finally ready to share them with you. To see them all displayed together, like the individual pieces of a cosmic puzzle, is something I’ve been looking forward to for so long.
